Am I alone in finding it a little bit off when a company who cannot be bothered to employ human beings to talk to you in real time phones you with a recorded message, and begins by asking you to "please listen carefully" to a robot?

The one advantage, I suppose is that one need have no feeling of guilt over being rude yourself in hanging up the phone on a robot.
