How the electorate views the referendum issues

Interesting to see the views of the electorate, according to a YouGov, survey about how strong various arguments are, how honest both campaigns are being, or not, (I will come back to this in a later post) and what sort of option they would like to see following a Brexit vote.

You can find the full results of the survey here.

With specific reference to the EU single market raised in my previous post, it looks like MPs will not be defying the majority of the electorate if they decide that a Brexit vote means leaving the EU but not the single market. The YouGov survey asked a question about this and  here is the result. It  suggests that by a narrow 53% to 47% margin the electorate would agree with such a decision.

I sense much fear in the higher levels right now.

Don't take the bait folks, Back Flexcit and vote to leave the EU.
